Send St. Luke's Choir to New York
The PCC of the Parish of St. Luke and Christ Church, Chelsea invites you to support your Choir in taking the worship of St. Luke's to New York, in August 2020.
The Choir of St. Luke's is entirely voluntary, and leads the weekly services of our church throughout the year. Its role in our worship is vital. Led by our Director of Music, Jeremy Summerly, and organist Rupert Jeffcoat, the Choir sings at Eucharist and Evensong every Sunday in term time, as well as at major church festivals: performing eclectic and advanced cathedral repertoire to an excellent standard.
The Choir has a busy tour and concert schedule, taking our enviable choral tradition to congregations far and wide. During the summer of 2019 the Choir sang at St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, St. Alban's Cathedral and Exeter Cathedral.
Most importantly of all, and at the heart of its being, our Choir nurtures and cultivates young singers, awarding four sought-after choral scholarships every year and offering an incredible experience to young musicians.
