St.Louis Fire Department K-9 Team

We are a Canine Search and Rescue Team which is a part of the St. Louis Fire Department. We have Four dogs. Three are live find dogs and one is a Human Remains Detection dog. One dog is in service, one is in training, and two are puppies the will begin training soon. We are a part of the St. Louis Fire Department but are funded 100% by donations. We are currently trying to secure funds for equipment for the dogs, mainly safety equipment. We are looking to purchase goggles, booties, vests,and transportation kennels. These are especially important because we all use our personal vehicles to train and respond to calls in. These kennels are important because it helps to protect the canines in the event of a crash. Theses specially trained canines cost up to $12000.00. Any injury or death to our dogs would be devastating. Thank you for your support.
