STITCHPOP: Alaska’s Boldest Gourmet Popcorn & Southern Snack Truck

Hi, I’m Carlos Valdez — founder of STITCHPOP, a flavor-packed fusion of gourmet popcorn and Southern comfort snacks, born right here in Juneau, Alaska.

STITCHPOP isn’t just a food brand — it’s a mobile flavor experience. We’re bringing the soul of the South to the streets of the North with crave-worthy eats like Cajun boiled peanuts, loaded nachos and fries, Southern-style hot dogs, crispy wings, slushies, milkshakes, and our signature popcorn in wild and classic flavors.

We’ve already started taking orders and building our online presence, but now it’s time to take STITCHPOP on the road — literally.

Why We’re Raising $45,000

To truly bring STITCHPOP to life, we need a fully furnished food truck — not just a cart, but a mobile kitchen that can roll through Juneau and serve up our full menu wherever the cravings hit.

Your support will help us:

Purchase and outfit a mobile food truck with essential kitchen equipment:

Popcorn machines

Deep fryers for wings, loaded fries, and hot dogs

Slushie and milkshake makers

Refrigeration and prep stations

Coffee and drink dispensers

Stock our initial inventory of ingredients and supplies

Design bold branding and packaging that reflects our Southern-meets-Alaska vibe

Launch our online ordering system and website

Cover startup costs, permits, and insurance for the first few months of operation

This isn’t just a fundraiser — it’s a movement to pop flavor and soul into Alaska’s food scene. With your help, STITCHPOP will be the go-to truck for bold bites and Southern delights.
