In lieu of our usual Thanksgiving event, the local African Community Center DC Metro branch of ECDC is raising funds to help our newly arrived Afghan allies. All of the proceeds from this charity will go directly to Afghan families who are rebuilding their lives in Northern Virginia and Maryland. This money will help families to secure housing, buy food and other essentials, and access urgent medical care.

You can make a difference by donating today to Ethiopian Community Development Council, Inc. ECDC was established in 1983 to meet the needs of the growing Ethiopian community in Northern Virginia. Today, we serve refugees and immigrants from all cultural backgrounds by providing case management, employment services, health services and victim advocacy. ECDC works in collaboration with its affiliate network of Ethnic Community Based Organizations (ECBOS) to help communities achieve successful integration.
