Stillwater Firefighter Battling Cancer

Todd Hinkle was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2017, not long after learning that his twin brother had received the same diagnosis. After several months of treatment, Todd received a full prostatectomy. One year after the surgery, Todd was told that his PSA numbers had continued to rise. He was then diagnosed as recurrent and still positive for cancer. This summer, Todd began daily radiation therapy for 8 weeks, followed by a daily trial chemo/hormone treatment for an additional 6 months.

 

The Hinkle family needs help with expenses associated with travel and treatment, along with day-to-day expenses.

 

Todd is a lieutenant with the Stillwater (OK) Fire Department and has been with SFD for 17 years. He has a wife, Liz, and two sons: William (14) and Cash (10).
