Where do I start... I’m 22 years old. I just moved to a new city a few months back and I was pregnant with my baby girl. I had just moved into my new apartment, but with just moving into my new home for a new start, I lost my daughter unexpectedly five days after just moving in. This had me so blindsided because I had just seen her a few hours before I gave birth to her that night in my new home. Her last heart rate I’ll only have of my baby girl is 171 bpm. I lost her on July 19 of this year.

I couldn’t stop bleeding after I lost her, and it took me out of work and progressively got worse over time. If it weren’t for my family finding me on my living room floor, I don’t think I’d be here. I was rushed to the hospital and I was going into septic shock because I still had retained tissue (parts of my daughter's placenta) still deep inside my uterus and stuck, which led to my body continuously bleeding for four weeks straight and eventually making me so weak I don’t even remember passing out on my floor. I was admitted to the hospital for blood transfusions and an emergency D&C to remove what was left inside of me.

I was then fired for being absent for too long, which I thought was illegal to do. I will be taking legal action against them, but I’m not too sure if anyone will read this or help, but I thought I’d try. I’ve been applying for jobs and if I don’t find a job soon, I’ll be homeless. Anything would be appreciated, even if it’s just a prayer. I just miss my daughter.
