I am Olya, and similarly to all of you, I have been following in shock the horrors happening in Ukraine in the past months. I am a Ukrainian living in Germany, which on one side grew infinite guilt in me for having this "privileged life" and sleeping in my bed with no siren alerts, but on the other side gave me & my friends the possibility to organize at least an absolute minimum help for people back home. 

With the huge help of our incredible neighbors, friends, and colleagues, we've collected 3 cars of baby clothes & diapers for an evacuated Ukrainian orphanage in Poland and the refugees in Berlin; 110 boxes of baby food and hygiene items for Mariupol; 14 boxes of food and hygiene items for Kharkiv all delivered during March & April. 

In the second half of 2022 I have been cooperating with the trusted organization Plast Berlin Helps to deliver humanitarian aid to the civilians living in cities under shellings. Over 7 months or so we have organized 4 shipments of food and hygiene essentials to Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhya as well as a special shipment of Christmas presents for the children in the South East of Ukraine.

At the moment I keep collecting the help mainly for the hospitals and stabilization centers that treat the wounded in the East. I would be very grateful for any little donations or help with spreading the word about the initiative. I always provide updates on how I spend the funds on this page to ensure transparency and accountability.
