Still hating cancer more than we hate cycling

Well here we are again. Ali and Tommy, still alive and kicking.
For those of you who didn’t know I was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer almost 4 years ago.
We did the Tour de 4 last year, had a great time and were overwhelmed by the generosity of friends, family and complete strangers, and we raised a big hefty amount for the Beatson Cancer Charity.
Additionally we had an article published in the Daily Telegraph as part of their campaign to highlight the lack of testing for prostate cancer.
This year we're doing it again on Sunday 6th September on the static bikes. We realise that you all have lots of other charities you donate to but would be grateful even if you can't contribute, if you can pass on the details to others.
As a result of taking part last year we were invited along to the launch of this year's event. They say you should never meet your heroes. We met Sir Chris and Lady Sarra Hoy. Amazing, genuine people. So if our story can add a wee bit to the monumental efforts by them, then we would be delighted.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
