Still Fighting -Help Angel Santa Win his Battle
Donation protected
To all Family, Friends, Coworkers and Compassionate Strangers,
It is my humble plea for support of my dear friend Angel Santa and his family as they continue to navigate the aftermath of a life-altering battle with Covid-19. Angel is a loving family man with the most selfless wife and three amazingly resilient children: 2 sons (ages 13 and 11) and a daughter (age 9).
In December 2021, Angel left his home to seek treatment from the hospital due to difficulty breathing. As a result of Covid, Angel has been in and out of the hospital and rehab for almost two years. Covid has caused Angel to:
-suffer severe lung damage requiring oxygen therapy
-to be diagnosed with the onset of diabetes
-to have a tracheostomy tube inserted
-require a g-tube for feeding
-undergo surgery to remove blood clots from his leg
-have inflammation, swelling, and water retention
-lose sensation of his foot which caused an infection, sepsis, and ultimately led to its amputation
Angel remains in a hospital/rehab setting to date where his wife cuts herself in half to visit and care for Angel daily for hours on end, yet still managing her employment schedule, and ensuring their three children’s needs are being met. Unfortunately, Angel is still receiving oxygen therapy, he is now on dialysis three times a week, and on pain management. Angel remains in good spirits and is doing his very best to overcome this situation.
I can only imagine the financial strain the family is experiencing so I come to you for donations. Please be reminded no amount is ever too small. From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you for any contribution you make. Together we can make Angel and his family’s battle a little easier.
