Hi my name is Misty Nissen and last night one of my sons best friends was severely burned in an accident! Zack Verbish known as “Stigge” to all his friends is a 20 year old well mannered and hard working kid that is always there to help anyone in need and guaranteed to make you laugh if he’s around! Last night he was involved in a freak accident where his chest, face and hand was severely burned and he was life flighted to UC Davis Burn Center early this morning. Stigge and his girlfriend from high school Maddie are young and just getting on their feet renting a house in Durham to be closer to her job. He does construction and will be unable to work for who knows how long along with medical expenses building quickly! My heart goes out to this hardworking kid that has always been a wonderful friend to my son and to so many others so just thought this is a way to help ease the blow of what is going to be a huge challenge in his young life.
