Stier-Batchley Paradise Homes Lost

Paradise, CA was ground zero for the tragic Camp Fire earlier this week. Close family, Rick & Elissa and Brian & Rita lost their homes to this fire on Thursday (11/8/18). With very little time to evacuate, neither family was able to pack any belongings as they ran from the fire. Rick and Elissa have two little boys and a dog, Eli (age 6), Mac (age 2) and Wookie. Rick has been employed by the Water District in Paradise for the last six years. For the last three years, Rita has been a nurse at Feather River Hospital, which was severely damaged. It is uncertain at this point whether or not Rick and Rita have their jobs to return to. They have learned that Eli's school has burned down as well.  Right now both families are temporarily relocated 150 miles away from Paradise. The family is in need of money for lost wages, clothing, groceries, toiletries, and housing accommodations. Extended family members are collecting home goods and toys to furnish their rebuilding efforts.
