Stiefel Tower Restoration
Tax deductible
Would you like to help us with the rebuilding of the historic Stiefel tower? While much of the money has been raised we still need help. We need to raise almost $100,000 more. Thanks in advance for your contribution, this means the world to us. Covid19 has hit theatres very hard, and we are no exception. Independent venues like the Stiefel were the first to close and will be the last to open. Raising money now has never been more important. On an annual basis 100% of our operational support comes from donations, and donations will cover 100% of the tower renovations. Our shows cover their own costs.
We had several generous and visionary donors come forward and offer to help with a significant portion of the cost of re-building the original Stiefel tower to be exactly as it was in 1931. In 1954 lightning caused damage to the upper tiers of the tower, causing the necessary removal of the top layers. The original tower extended four stories tall and had 30 recessed lights illuminating it. With the help of Jones Gillam Renz Architects and Hutton Construction the tower was perfectly restored.
We would be so grateful for your help with the tower. We hope that it will serve as a beacon of hope and love for this community and region. Rise Again!
