My cousin Maria was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 triple positive invasive ductal carcinoma, which has also spread to her lymph nodes. At just 35 years old, she is facing this battle with incredible strength and grace while being a devoted wife and loving mother to two beautiful young children. Her treatment began yesterday with the first of six rounds of TCHP chemotherapy, scheduled every 21 days. After that, she will undergo surgery, followed by HP infusions through August 2026. Radiation and potential maintenance therapies will follow, depending on the results of her post-surgery pathology. Despite the overwhelming road ahead, Maria continues to fight with courage, surrounded by love and unwavering support.
