Hi everyone!! This is Kim and Devin Walkley and we are creating this fundraiser for our dear friends, Carolyn and Trey Valentine.❤️ They could really use our help! They have an adorable German Shepard puppy, named Chop, that desperately needs surgery! 

Chop was born on June 16, 2022 and was nursing well, but when he began eating solid food he began wheezing after he’d eat and then regurgitate the food eaten. He was taken to the vet on July 26 and they were told that he was eating too fast and needed to be monitored to slow his intake down. This was monitored, but the issue kept occurring.

Chop was taken back to the vet on August 5th, since there hadn’t been any changes, and after being tested they were told that Chop has PRAA (Persistent Right Aortic Arch). The vessel connecting from his pulmonary artery to his aorta is clamping off his esophagus and he’s unable to eat and regurgitates any solid food intake. Tube feeding is Chops only option right now. Surgery is Chops only option to correct this defect and to survive.  

Chop isn't able to have the surgery til he reaches 12 weeks old, so in the meantime, they are having to finely blend his food and tube feed him from a Bailey Chair to allow food to reach is stomach and digest.
