Tuesday after his second and more severe and frequent seizure seems he needs a medical evaluation and medication change at Long Island Veterinary Hospital.
Stewart will have ongoing care needs above that of a normal dog. medical and special foods due to seizures.
Cerebella Hypoplasia which is a brain defect that ruins muscle control for things like walking and motor control was his primary dysfunction when I adopted him as I had same issue with JD and felt he could have a great life.
Epilepsi was totally unknown and not expected.
Needs ongoing labs done for the anti seizure medication and adjustment.
You all became caretakers with me of JD. As a “village” we gave JD almost 13 years of joy and adventures. 9/11/01 greatly diminished my earning as a volunteer at ground zero. EMS and recovery. Medical problems and it never ends.
So this makes it possible for me to care for jd and now Stewart and hopefully make his life an adventure as JD had. Maine to NYC.
