Stewart's rehabilitation assistance

Donation protected
As many of you are aware our friend Stewart Lusk suffered a massive stroke on Sunday, February 5th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL while he and his partner Greg Merritt were preparing to return home from a cruise. In typical Stewart fashion, he couldn't just have a stroke at home like a commoner, he had to go all the way to Fort Lauderdale. Greg is with him currently in the ICU at Broward Health Medical Center. He is stable but the effects of the stroke include significant issues with cognition, speech, and right-side paralysis. He likely has a long difficult road to recovery ahead. In the coming weeks he will be transferred to a rehabilitation center somewhere in the southeast, but potentially not near his home in Knoxville. If strong will, pride, and a little stubbornness are great qualities to assist in recovery Stewart should be just fine.

Many of Stewart's friends have expressed an interest in "doing something" for he and Greg. I know Stewart well and he would be horrified to think anyone begged for charity on his behalf. However, Greg's travel to a rehabilitation facility, Stewart's inability to work in the near term, and the difficulties of adapting their home for Stewart's mobility can all be potentially very expensive. This GoFundMe will at least give his many friends an outlet to help them tangibly.
