Dealing with the loss of a friend or a family member is never an easy task. Dealing with the loss in a time of lockdowns and financial uncertainty is made even harder.

Stewart Leaf was an impassioned member of the communities he lived in. From the years of running his own Karate classes in New Zealand, to the teams and seasons of Rugby League that he coached in the Blue Mountains, Stewart was a man who thrived on communal activity. And he carried this teamwork ethic into everything he did.

He will certainly be sorely and dearly missed.

To help celebrate the life of Stewart Leaf, the Leaf family and it's extended members are organising a central fund to contribute financially towards the funeral, travel and wake costs of a service spanning two countries during covid.

Any contributions from friends or family members towards Stewart's send off will be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.

Any additional surplus of funds will be contributed to Stewart's New Zealand service which will entail the transport and the scattering of his ashes from Australia.
