Stewart Erickson’s Recovery Help
Hi, my name is Katrina. My family has been good friends with the Erickson family for over 10 years now. Recently, Stewart had an unexpected injury that required surgery. His achilles tendon snapped and while surgery went as smooth as possible, his recovery will be a long road. He won’t be able to walk for 8-12 weeks, will then hopefully be able to transition to a walking boot, but full recovery to get him back to 100% will take a year. This is especially scary for the Erickson’s because Stewart is a self employed electrician so if he’s not working, he’s not making money. His wife, Nicole, works but like most families with kids (they have 3 handsome and active boys) they depend on both incomes. This family is one of the most selfless families we know! When my husband had cancer a few years ago, Nicole and Stewart went above and beyond to make sure our family could focus on his recovery and I feel like it’s our turn to repay the blessing. If you’re local, chances are you know how involved this family is in our community. Stewart has spent countless hours volunteering his time as a youth couch for numerous teams. If there is ever a need in the community, Nicole is right there organizing and/or volunteering help. This family truly deserve our support. I would be forever grateful, as will the Ericksons even if they would never ask for it themselves, for any love and support you can offer. Let’s rally behind this family like they often do for others!!
