Stewart Bevan Memorial & Ukraine Crisis Fund

Stewart sadly passed away last week age 73. His one wish was for his body to be donated to Science. However, there have been many complications surrounding this donation and as his family, we have sadly been unable to fulfil this wish for him.

 

Given the current state of the world with the crisis in Ukraine, we feel the next best possible thing we could do in memory of who he was, is to create a donation fund in Stewart's honour to offer support to those affected by the war. We will be donating Stewart's clothing and possessions to The Red Cross and have chosen to support Choose Love who are pioneering a new movement in humanitarian aid https://chooselove.org/who-we-are/ with the donations we raise via this Go Fund Me campaign.

 

Additionally, the fund will also help support Stewart's immediate family with the costs that we are struggling to pay surrounding his cremation and a memorial to celebrate his life and legacy in the arts.

 

We also plan to use the fund to purchase a simple bench for Peace and a plaque in his honour that will be placed in the peaceful fields near his home in the English countryside, where he would walk everyday .

 

 

 

 

We are working closely with the Go Fund Me team to ensure awareness is built around our campaign. Much like his character in Dr Who, Stewart was an active campaigner, extremely passionate about human rights, he supported the long term education of several children in third world countries and regularly donated to several humanitarian charities throughout his life.

 

 

 

 

We are asking friends, family and fans to donate to this fund and respond swiftly.

 

We really want to help as much as we can and make a difference with the legacy that my father, Stewart leaves behind.
