Hello,
Meet Steven Lee Scoffone aka Stevie Lee.
He was born at 25 weeks 4 days and he was 12 in Long 1 lb 7 oz June 11th 2018 at 3:23 p.m. in the afternoon. This was an emergency C-section at Stanford Children's Hospital Lucile Packard.
He continues to reside at standford hospital. Stevie has undergone four blood transfusions and he's still intubated and been in the NICU for 50 days. He now weighs just over 4lbs and is growing.
With that said this is a huge strain in all aspects for mother Alex Mitchell and father Stevo Scoffone. Theses dedicated parents commute every single day from Soquel ca to Stanford hospital. The drive alone is stressful. Once they arrive they are relived to be in the comfort of there baby boy. Some days are better than others and on the bad days it’s nearly impossible to have to leave the hospital. To be away from your child who is fighting for his life everyday is crippling.
This fundraiser is to help them stay closer to there baby. To be able to take time off work and physically be closer to him. This is a very difficult time for our entire family. The love we all have for this precious life is infinite.
All donations welcome or words of encouragement.
Thank you.
