On Saturday, March 16th, our Facilities Manager, Stevie, and his fiancee, Lauren, suffered a devastating house fire after lightning struck their home. While all residents including their dogs got out in time, the fire caused a total loss of possessions inside the home. As a result, they are currently living out of an Air BNB while they adjust to this sudden change of environment, and we as staff are banding together to try and raise money on their behalf. They are unsure how long it'll be and what they will be apportioned to receive regarding their insurance, but for the foreseeable future, they are in great need of funds for essential items (clothes, groceries, eventual purchasing of new furniture, access to laundry, etc). Stevie is a one of our most hard-working and beloved employees at the club, and we'd love to be able to give his family a cushion of support as they slowly navigate their way back to normalcy and establish new home quarters.
