Steve was living with diabetes, and due to complications from his disease he had his leg amputated. Unfortunately, insurance declined to pay for a prosthetic, leaving his family the choice to either pay over $50,000 themselves, or do without.
Fortunately, through support from Innovative Prosthetics, Steve was able to get support for a prosthetic to help him walk. But, the charity can't give the full amount.
To help cover the remaining costs, we set up this page. Please, help us get to the $7,500 goal to give Steve the chance to walk, run, and play with his Grandchildren and live a life free of limitations.
"Steve has been such a hard worker his entire life. His family has always come first. I want him to have his freedom back, and be the supportive husband I've known my entire life. He's supported us so much throughout the years. Now we hope we can show him a fraction of the same support during these tough times."
-Tammy, Steve's Wife of 30 years.
Steve has eight grandchildren, and a ninth due in two weeks.
