Steve's Unexpected Surgery: A Call for Help
Donation protected
Hi all,
You know who I am. Some of us met in grade school, or perhaps at college in Vermont. For some, it was while performing Shakespeare across the country, or working together on a hospital unit, a grad school scene shop, or some other venue over the years.
As I recently posted, I just had a rather unplanned, emergent gallbladder surgery. I went to urgent care Tuesday morning, and by the end of that day, I was spending the night in a hospital bed post-surgery. The good news is that all went well and I’m discharged home today, Thursday. I appreciate all the well-wishes and thoughts.
During the summer months, I typically pick up extra shift work to pay bills and bank funds for the school year. With my recovery, I’ll be limited for the remainder of June and into early July. Because of this, I will be struggling financially. It’s a situation I hate to be in. Truly.
I’m reaching out to see if my “greater community” may be able to ease this anxious time. I’m limiting my request to what I need, not for any extravagance. But please feel free to disregard this altogether. I will not at all be offended.
Be well, everyone. I appreciate you.
