hi my name is Steve I am running my first half marathon which is the Dublin City half marathon on the 30th of March in aid of Pieta, a charity that helps prevent suicide and self-harm. It’s a cause that really means a lot to me, and every donation, no matter how small, will help. Pieta is there for people who are struggling or have lost someone to suicide. Did you know almost 500 people in Ireland take their own lives every year? That’s one person every week. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Pieta is working to change things by offering life-saving support, starting important conversations, and bringing people together through events like Darkness Into Light.
