UPDATE: It’s with the heaviest hearts that we share that Steve passed away on January 4th, surrounded by his loved ones.
Funds raised will now go towards funeral and memorial expenses, outstanding medical bills, and supporting Becca and Nora as they navigate the days ahead.
Thank you for helping us honor Steve’s life and legacy.
Steph and Emma
We are reaching out to ask for your love, support, and generosity on behalf of our dear friend Becca and her husband Steve, who are currently facing one of life’s toughest battles.
Earlier this year, Steve was diagnosed with stage 4 Esophageal Cancer — a devastating diagnosis that has now progressed and spread to both his liver and lungs. Since then, their lives have been completely turned upside down.
Every day is now filled with doctor appointments, chemotherapy treatments, blood work, and the heavy emotional and physical toll that comes with such an aggressive illness. Despite it all, Becca and Steve continue to face this unimaginable journey with grace, strength, and a quiet kind of courage that inspires everyone around them.
They are also the proud and devoted parents of 6-month-old baby Nora — the sweetest, happiest little girl who brings light to everyone she meets. Even through the hardest days, Nora’s giggles and smiles have become a lifeline for Becca and Steve, reminding them of hope and love in the darkest moments.
This family is doing everything they can to hold it together — but the financial strain of cancer is overwhelming. From mounting medical bills, to lost income, to the basic cost of daily living and childcare, the weight is heavy and growing.
That’s why we’ve started this fundraiser — to raise $50,000 to help ease the financial burden so Becca and Steve can focus on what matters most: fighting this disease and cherishing time together as a family.
If you can give — no matter the amount — please know that every donation makes a difference. If you're unable to contribute financially, you can still help by sharing this fundraiser and keeping this beautiful family in your prayers and thoughts.
Becca and Steve are incredible people — selfless, loving, and resilient beyond words. They didn’t ask for this fight, but they are meeting it with everything they have. Let’s come together to remind them they’re not alone.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. ❤️
With gratitude,
Emma and Steph
