On May 14th Steven Pluta was injured in a motorcycle that has left him with severe injuries in his right arm and left leg.

Steve has previously served in the United States Marine Corps as a Scout/Sniper, completing two combat deployments to southern Afghanistan before coming home to get his bachelors degree in nursing at Penn State.

Steve and his fiancé Shawnee are getting married on August 1st, something that Steve plans on doing regardless of his injuries.

The coming weeks and months will be difficult as Steve recovers.

While we're unsure of how much the VA will cover of his medical bills, one thing is for certain: life is going to be a little different for Steve and Shawnee.
