Help Steve fight pancreatic cancer!

Story

My uncle, Steve Parr, has endured many challenges due to his declining health since the end of April 2015. After a few days of extreme stomach pains he was admitted into the hospital for the first time in May 2015 where he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Little did anyone know that this was to be the first of many pancreatic attacks and the beginning of his worst medical nightmare. Since then he has never made a full recovery, in fact his health has declined so much he was forced to take short term disability from work. Since May he has been steadily in and out of the hospital trying to figure out why he is not making any improvements. He was put on a feeding tube in June for about 8 weeks to bypass the pancreas and allow it to heal. In August he had to have surgery to remove an obstruction in his intestines and biopsy a possible mass. Unfortunately, even through all of the hospital stays, testing, and surgeries his pancreas still has not healed and now other organs are showing signs of trauma. Yesterday we were told that the mass as grown and cancer still cannot be ruled out contrary to what we were told a few months back. So today he has been transported to another hospital for another ERCP and endoscopic MRI. He is now experiencing severe pain and jaundice of the skin due to how this has effected his liver and gallbladder. It is possible they may have to place a stint in the liver today, but we will know more when we get results of these procedures.Steve has currently lost 80lbs in this fight for his life, he has also lost his FMLA, and health insurance...But he has NOT lost his sense of humor, faith, and will to live. He may look different to us all, but that same old Steve is there, searching for answers and healing. My Aunt Leslie was layed off one year ago so you could only imagine how tough things are for them right now. She has started a small shirt business from their home and that is their only income, which cannot come close to taking care of Steve's medical bills that are piling up. If you know Steve then you know he has always been the one to help others, putting them before himself, and now it is time for us to help him. He needs us, now more than ever! If you can't help financially please pray for him and share his story far and wide. Updates will be posted on Steve's condition. Thank you for your support.
