Steven’s Medical Fund - Cancer

My brother, Steven might be mad at me for doing this... but he’ll get over it.
Steven is a beloved and incredible English teacher living in Vietnam. He has been diagnosed with cancer (carcinoma) in his sigmoid colon. It has progressed to stage 2 or 3, according to his Doctor. It has taken a toll on his overall health and needs to be taken care of right away. Thankfully, it has been caught early! No spreading at this point to liver, kidneys, lungs etc. All appear clean and unaffected.
The operation is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, May 20, 2021. Right now, he is preparing for a check-in tomorrow (Tuesday). The prognosis is good, as it seems to have been caught early, THANK GOODNESS!
Surgery will be followed by chemotherapy and likely radiation, which is where the cost begins to climb. His subpar insurance won’t be able to cover much of the cost and that is where this fundraiser will help him and his family immensely.
This has seriously affected his ability to work due to his declining health, which in turn has eroded his modest savings.
The funds donated will be transferred to my personal account. From there, I will send the money to my brother for him to cover hospital costs and other incidentals that will be used for their needs to keep his family going as he recovers.
HE IS IN GOOD HANDS AT THE HOSPITAL AND THE OUTLOOK SEEMS POSITIVE!
