Steven's Fight for Recovery Needs You

My name is Brittany Marz. On Thursday April, 3rd my father Steven Marz was transferred to Regions hospital. He had been in Amery hospital for severe issues with his bladder a week prior that only got worse due to a procedure that amery attempted on him 4 separate times that day. By the time dad went back to the hospital he had severe weakness and could barely walk. At ct scan showed that his bladder was four times the size it should have been and since he couldn't empty it entirely the antibiotics amery had him on couldn't do anything for the infection. After arriving to regions he continued to worsen and loss the use of his limbs. The doctors haven't been able to determine what is causing his inability to move but their best guess what that the severe arthritis in his neck is pinching his nerves so yesterday April 5th he was rushed into emergency surgery to decompress the nerves and hopefully give him back his mobility. They also did a lumbar puncture to test for autoimmune diseases that may have also caused him to get so sick so fast. When all of that is figured out they have said he will need reconstructive surgery to repair the damage that the other hospital caused. I am starting this go fund me to hopefully help us with the expenses of going back and forth to regions as we all just moved as this was happening and are struggling to figure everything out. Dad is frustrated at not being able to move or do anything for himself and is missing his wife, children, and grandkids terribly. He does everything for everyone and can't stand being unable to help right now. If you can help that would be appreciated more than you know if not we understand. Thank you for reading.
