As many of you know, I was eagerly anticipating my 50th birthday, planning a big celebration to mark this milestone. However, in light of the recent devastating earthquake in Myanmar, my heart has been deeply moved, and I feel compelled to use this occasion to raise awareness and funds for those affected by this tragedy. This milestone offers a unique opportunity to give back and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Today, I reach out to you with a heartfelt plea to join me in supporting the people of Myanmar, who are enduring unimaginable hardship following a devastating earthquake.

My Motherland in Crisis

On March 28, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar, with its epicenter near Mandalay, the country's second-largest city. The tremors reduced homes to rubble, claimed thousands of lives, and left countless families grieving and displaced. The destruction is vast, and the path to recovery is daunting.

Myanmar holds a special place in my heart. Through my involvement with Serve Your Neighbour Australia (SYNA) and the Minister to Minister (M2M) Mission, I've witnessed the resilience and spirit of the Burmese people. SYNA, the non-profit mission wing of the Burmese Christian Church Sydney, has been dedicated since 2014 to serving communities in need, focusing on health, education, and humanitarian support. M2M Mission works tirelessly to support local ministers and their communities, providing spiritual and practical assistance during times of crisis.

Our Collective Impact

In honour of my 50th birthday, I aim to raise funds to support SYNA and M2M Mission in their relief efforts. Your generous contributions will directly aid in providing:
