Steven Zakarian's Road to Recovery

The friends and family of Steven Zakarian have created this fundraiser to help provide support for Steven and his family as he recovers from serious injuries sustained during a cycling collision.

On the morning of Wednesday, February 16th, Steven was hit by a car while on his bicycle near Griffith Park. He sustained significant injuries, including head trauma and a broken scapula. He was taken by ambulance to the Emergency Room at LAC USC Medical Center.

Steven has been on a breathing tube and under sedation in the ICU for the past two days.

No one has been allowed in to be with him, including his fiancé Zoey, due to the hospital's strict Covid 19 restrictions. Zoey has been fiercely advocating for him from afar.

Steven will need funds on his road to recovery, primarily for legal, general medical, physical therapy, and a new bike.

Those of you who know Steven (or Steveo as many of us call him) know how many lives he has touched. You know how many opportunities he's provided. How much hope he has given. How much support he's offered. He's one of the most generous people I know. He's also one of the funniest people I know. If he were reading this right now, he would be making fun of me so hard for being so serious. And I cannot wait for the day he gets to clown on me again.

Now it's our turn to step up for Steveo. Let's show him how much he means to us and help make his road to recovery a smooth one. Thank you all.
