Help Steve Fight Cancer!

Since June 2012 at the age of 53, my father Steven Webster, has been battling Kidney Cancer. That summer was difficult emotionally and physically with months in the ICU and surgeries including the removal of his left kidney. Within the next two years his routine scans showed stage 4 cancer, it had spread to his lungs, liver and renal bed.
The journey has been a rollercoaster, he has had complications, multiple emergency room and ICU visits with long stays in the hospital due to severe pain from his growing tumors, his weak immune system, and fluid around his heart. He has battled bravely with different types of treatments including a variety of chemo therapies. However, his latest scans show more cancer growth and with his current state of health, he is unable to return to work and will lose both his income and insurance benefits. This means a dramatic change for our family’s financial situation as he will be on permanent disability.
The funds raised for him will be used for the high costs of his new health insurance and new holistic treatments. He has decided to fight his cancer naturally to improve his quality of life and feel overall healthier. My mom Lorie Webster, has been a wonderful caregiver to him and currently works as much as she can to support them financially. However the new insurance and treatments are extremely expensive.
Every day is different for our family, some days the sun shines bright for us; other days my dad’s health is declining badly and we get more sad news. When people ask me who my hero is, without hesitation I tell them it is my dad. He is the most patient, selfless, hardworking, and kind person I know. Watching him be a grandpa has filled our hearts with joy. His strong faith in the Lord has given him hope and peace in this journey. If only there were more people like him, the world would be a much better place.
Our family is hopeful that the new natural cancer treatments are successful. We just ask that if you are able to help us we are extremely humble and appreciative of your generosity. Thank you for your kindness, thoughts, and prayers, we are grateful for your support.
