Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My brother, Steven Thomas is about to begin a life-changing journey. After years of battling kidney disease,and being on dialysis for 2 1/2 years, he has finally been given the chance of a new beginning thanks to the incredible generosity of a wonderful family friend who has selflessly offered to donate their kidney.

This is an amazing gift, and he is overwhelmed with gratitude for the second chance it will give him.

While the surgery itself will be covered, the costs surrounding it are not. In order to undergo this transplant, my brother and his wife will face significant expenses for housing, travel, meals ect. These costs can add up quickly, and we want to ease the burden so that he can focus entirely on healing and recovery—not financial stress.
