Steven Taylor Needs Your Help After Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On October 10th, 2024, our world got turned upside down. Steven Taylor and my nephew decided to go to the back part of our property and were target shooting and messing with modified fireworks. Steven decided he was going to throw one after lighting it in his hand, and when they lit it, it pretty much exploded in Steven’s right hand, which is his dominant hand. My nephew got Steven back to the house, and I praise the Lord that my niece was at home and managed to act very fast and calm to get the tourniquet on his arm because without her doing that, Steven would be dead!
Steven went straight into his first surgery upon arrival at the emergency room and he had a total of three surgeries and a skin graft. They had to amputate half of his palm, his pointing finger, his thumb, and his middle finger on his right hand. We do not have medical insurance on either of us, just Tripp, but of course, we never thought anything like this would happen to us. Steven spent a total of 8 days in the hospital, and it was pretty rough for him to be away from Tripp. He still has a very, very long road of recovery to go down, but we know he can do it!
Steven has had to leave his job welding for a great company, but he had no choice, at least for a while. So that leaves me being the sole provider for our little family, and it’s rough with two incomes these days, much less just one income. We are asking for anything that you can do to help us with medical bills, groceries, bills, gas to and from appointments, and if nothing else, please keep him mostly but our little family in your prayers and thoughts. We definitely need them! We want to thank everyone in advance, and we love you all! God has us!!
