MEMORIAL SERVICE & LUNCH-IN for STEVEN CHARLES SAMFILIPPO JR.
Dear friends and family of Steve,
It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Steven Charles Samfilippo Jr.
Due to a horrific car accident on July 17th, the world lost our Steve, the 36-year-old loving father of Steven, Selena, and Craig. Steve is a beloved son of Rosemarie Zalewski, Stepfather Stan Zelewski and the late Steven Samfilippo Sr. in addition to being a dear brother to Christina and Maria.
Steve was an amazing gardener and chef, a loving father, and an incredibly optimistic friend. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time outside. Steve's joy for life and boundless energy was contagious. He lived life to the fullest and spread positivity wherever he went. Simply hearing his laugh or seeing his smile would immediately bring a smile to anyone's face. We can all still hear his laughter, see the sparkle in his eye, and feel the excitement and energy that he carried with him wherever he went. Steve meant so much to so many people and was very loved.
We are all devastated by Steve’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a memorial service. While we cannot take away his family's sorrow, we can help ease the burden by supporting Steve's family. We want to give Steve the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. Please help raise as much as possible so that Steve's loved ones, especially his mother, can focus on grieving and navigating through life during this very tragic, difficult time. Rosemarie Zalewski is the sole beneficiary of this campaign, so all funds will go directly to her.
We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Steve’s Memorial Service, Lunch-In, and end-of-life costs. We need to raise $8,000 as soon as possible. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help Steve's family during this unexpected difficult time. We are so very grateful for every donation!
