Hi my name is Rob and my father is Steve.

Sadly on the 9th August 2025 I found my Dad unresponsive and with the best efforts of my partner and paramedics, they were unsuccessful in bringing him back.

Everyone who knew my dad will know the vortex he left them in and knew you would want to spend more time with him. I am feeling his loss more than ever.

The reason I am asking for help is after spending 3 years in France he finally managed to come back to live in Portsmouth, England.

He got himself set up and planned for the future and even set in place a funeral plan. Now this is the kicker with the passing of my dad within starting his policy within 8 months of starting it, there is a big chance that they will not pay out to cover what he had planned.

His service is due to start at 15:15 on the 1st September at Port Chester Crematorium with the wake at The Ship Anson in old Portsmouth starting from 4 - 4:30pm depending on service length.

I don't mind the financial burden to make sure I can at least send him off with dignity however if anyone would like to contribute I would be forever grateful in helping this loving caring man a decent send off.
