If there is one thing that is certain in this life, it’s to be sure that you hug the ones you love. You never know when it will be the last time.

Steven was (and will always be) a free spirited soul that would light up the world of those that he loved. He was a man who loved with all of his heart and kept family values at the forefront of who he was. He laughed with us all no matter at whos expense, even if it was his own. He shared the sorrow we all went through as a family and comforted us when we needed it the most. A protector at heart, he always made sure that his family and friends were safe both physically and emotionally.

And most importantly, he was family. The best father, brother, son, uncle and friend anyone could ask for.

Unexpectedly our paths branch off, one of physical, one of soul

and for as long as I live my heart will have a brother sized hole.

But as we remember your love, your laughter and your light

maybe, just maybe one day we can carry on and be alright.

Steven, we will always love you and will forever, in this life and beyond. Rest easy our big protector, you're now a part of the light that guides our soul. Until we meet again.
