Hello my name is Sophie and I’m raising money to cover some of the costs of my dad’s funeral. My dad died suddenly on the 27th of November this year, it came as a shock to my whole family and were absolutely heartbroken. My dad passed in his sleep to which were not sure if it was from a cardiac arrest or maybe something else. My dad had complained to the doctors as well as Addenbrookes about heart and chest pains but was unfortunately let down by them. My dad was the most loving person for anyone to know, he went above and beyond for mostly everyone except himself. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia after his mum passed of cancer and it really took a part of him not only from himself but his family too. He wasn’t the same person but he always tried to do his best while battling against the mental health illness, since my dad has passed we’ve come to realise that he got behind on bills and his life insurance so we don’t have really anything to contribute to his funeral especially round Christmas it’s become even more difficult. My dad passing has been absolutely heart breaking, he only turned 58 on the 22nd November and then not long after passed. It’s been so hard to come to terms with and it’s something no one prepares you for unfortunately. My dad was a lovely man and well respected by many, you would usually find him dancing or singing to madness or trying to crack a joke. He had some lovely friends who supported him with his schizophrenia as well as our family. All we want now is to give him the best send off as that’s what he deserves, If anyone could contribute anything we would all be so grateful for your help at this difficult time, if you can’t contribute then just sharing this go fund me would be greatly appreciated.
