Our father was an amazing coach, mentor, husband, and best friend to many. He had an abundance of love for others that stretched far and wide and touched an unparalleled number of people. He had the biggest heart and would do anything he could to be there for the people he loved. He was our comedian, our confidant, and protector in many ways. It is hard to imagine what the world will be like without Steven Martinez.

Steve left unexpectedly and his passing has come as a shock to many, including his immediate family. The funds raised from this account will help Roxanne pay for a memorial event at one of the parks where he spent most of his time (location and date TBD) and will also help with hospital expenses, as well as any additional living cost.

Though we could not be by his side when he passed, we know that he was not alone. There is comfort in knowing that everyone who loved him will always be family to us, too. We deeply appreciate all the love and support during this difficult time and are thankful for any support to help us celebrate our father and pave a new path.
