Please Help Steven w Expenses following Traffic Stop Injury
Donation protected
Hi my name is Raven William, and I am Steven Margetts' girlfriend.
He is experiencing a difficult time right now, and could really use your help putting the pieces back together following an assault during a recent Traffic Stop.
After being in a motorcycle accident and airlifted from the Nicklemine UTV area near HOPE BC, he was paralyzed in May 2020. He is in a wheelchair and is paralyzed from the chest down.
Steven was working hard to rebuild strength and mobility following his C4/C5 Spinal Complete spinal injury, he has come a long way and would like to thank anyone that's ever lent a hand or donated any time with home modifications.
Initially in 2020 he spent 4 months in ICU at Vancouver, and 4 Months at GF Strong Spinal Rehabilitation Center, finally getting home late OCT 2020 to begin recovery from his motorcycle accident.
Since being home and for the past 4 years he has required both morning and evening help with completing each daily routine including dressing, bowel and bladder routine, as well as meals. He is designated as a persons with disabilities, and is on a very limited income of $1400 per month.
After Steven's living expenses and food, he has not had any excess capital to allow for proper physiotherapy, and has been in a deficit each month.
He was recently in a Traffic Stop and has experienced 4 broken Ribs, a broken Tibia and Fibia, and many cuts and bruises as well as emotional distress, and a Civil suit has been launched against the RCMP with help of the Bridge Law Group.

This was picked up by several large media outlets and will be in the news as more information is available.
As a result of this traffic stop, he was very injured and has been unable to work and afford proper legal council as well as the general cost of living. He is in need of specialized medical necessities such as orthopaedic footwear to help this wound close up and alleviate the pressure. He has been seeing many specialists and hopes to overcome these injuries.
Steven's foot wound became infected several times requiring IV Antibiotics. The injured leg at one point experienced the whole leg begin going septic due to the right leg wound. As a direct result of the assault Steven experienced he has had pressure sores develop on the bottom of his foot, that are still open to this day, requiring weekly wound care.
Steven truly has a Heart of Gold, helps others anytime he can and is certainly in need of our help.
Thank you for reading this and steven welcomes anyone to reach out to him.
