On July 31, 2015, Steven MacKrell went missing, leaving behind countless questions and an ache in the hearts of those who loved him most. For over a decade, his family has lived with uncertainty and grief, especially his beautiful daughter, Skylar, and his devoted parents, Astrid and Don MacKrell.

On the night of October 2, 2025, Steven was finally discovered and recovered, bringing long-awaited closure to his story. While the pain of loss remains, the MacKrell family can now begin to honor his memory and lay him to rest with peace.
