It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to our son/brother. His unexpected passing was really a shock to us. He unfortunately lost his battle with mental illness and addiction. Stephen was a kind hearted soul with an amazing personality. He felt a responsibility to those who were suffering ad he always did his best to help others in need despite his own hardship.
Although he was taken too soon from this world, he made sure to live his life to the fullest and enjoyed every second of it. He made such an impact on so many lives and we ask that you continue to remember the wonderful man he was.
Born in Denville and raised in Rockaway Township, he has been a lifelong are resident. Stephen graduated from Morris Hills HS. For a short period of time, he found a passion in cooking and became a great Chef. Stephen also had a deep dedication and devotion to music. He played drums and guitar and was also an amazing poet and writer. Another joy in his life was cars and trucks; when it came to trucks, he loved eighteen wheelers; his favorite cars were Volkswagens.
Left to continue his legacy of love and laughter is his beloved parents, Bruce and Vicki (Salvato) Kingdon, his loving sister, Kristen and many other family, friends and pets.
We would sincerely appreciate your gift of any amount to help with the funeral cost.
With gratitude,
The Kingdons
