If you're reading this and knew Steven, consider yourself very lucky. All he ever wanted to do was to make people laugh, and he succeeded most of the time. He was one of the funniest people we all had the pleasure of knowing, and he will be truly missed.

On the night of April 17th 2022, Steve left a hole in the hearts of his close friends and family. He was only 49 years old; about to turn 50 on April 24th. No one knows too much about the last few moments of his life, but what we do know, is that the void he left behind can never be filled by anyone, no matter what amount of time passes.

Steve was a complex individual, you never really knew what he was thinking or feeling; most of the time, he would cover up his pain and sadness with humor. "Scuba Steve" was very special, and the memories he left behind are great ones. Now that he's gone, the small family that he has left needs some help in sending him off the right way.

We're in very dark times - between the Pandemic, rising living costs like fuel, food, rent - it's a tough time for everyone. Steve only had a small family (his sister (Veronica), her husband/his brother-in-law (Brian), their two children/his niece (Maura) and nephew (Joey), his brother (Kenny), his wife (Val) and their daughter/his niece (Kira) - his mother and father passed away some time ago) and unfortunately, no life insurance available to provide a proper burial or service. We ask humbly that we can all band together and help them with the cost of a proper and dignified service.

Steve was a lone wolf, but would give the shirt off of his back if you ever needed it. When you were down, he'd try mercilessly to cheer you up, even if it came at the expense of your pride (he'd always know how to host a good roast, let me tell ya lol). And even though he left us in his solitude, it's only right for those who loved and cherished him that we try to send him off together, in our own way.

So share this post if nothing else; donate what you can, if you can. Our 50th birthday gift to him (it's this Sunday, April 24th) would be to create a milestone experience where he is celebrated and remembered for the stand up guy he was.

We love you, Steve. Hopefully the Rangers can take the Stanley Cup again soon.

With love,
Your family and friends
