Steven Hogel

Hello friends of Steven. My name is Lu-Anne and I am Steven's cousin. His father and my father were brothers. We may not be cousins by blood but we are cousins/friends by his adoption into our family.

Steven fought hard thru his life to get to where he always knew he wanted to be. His struggles were many for sure. But, the one thing his friends all knew was that he was one of the kindest, most loving souls one would have the pleasure of knowing. He would do anything for his friends and strangers as well. If you needed him and he could be there for you he was. He always wanted the one most important thing in his life - to make his mom, my Aunt Sandy, proud of him. I know she would be very proud of him and when she greets him on the other side, she will let him know just how much.

I do not want to see him linger any longer from his eternal rest. I am not a rich person, not many of us are. I have the cost of his cremation and return of ashes priced. I will also need a number of Original death certificates for proof to have things turned off for utilities, phone, etc. I was informed by a friend who is an accountant that sadly the death benefit may not be available to me to use towards this. I will be directed to do his taxes for last year and next year for this year. Funds will need to be put aside for a few extras. Any assistance no matter how small will go towards what will send him on his final journey. If anything is left over, I plan to donate any remaining funds to a place that would absolutely have Steven smiling. As his t-shirt in the picture states - Never Give Up... and he never did.
