With deep sadness, we share that our dear brother, Steve, lost his battle with cancer on October 13th, 2021. Stever, Steve-a-reno, or Reno as his friends and family lovingly referred to him, was a beautiful soul and wily punster, always ready with a groan-worthy joke to bring joy to the hearts of those he loved. He will be sorely missed.

 

Steve’s closest friends referred to him as a Renaissance Man; a dreamer, creator, lover of classical music, nature, art, and knowledge. While Steve was a man of creative genius and big dreams, from his art, architecture and stained glass work, to his musical talents, arguably his greatest love was carpentry and architecture. He designed and built homes and spaces for people that allowed them to live their best lives in harmony with their surroundings. We are thankful that his beautiful architecture and carpentry will live on and continue to bring joy to the world.

 

Steve’s last wish for his life was for his friends and family to gather together to celebrate his memory and maybe share a joke or two in his name. So his brother and sisters have created this campaign to help fulfill this final wish for their brother. Any funds collected over those required to pay his final needs and memorial expenses will be donated in Steve’s memory to a charity that was near and dear to his heart.
