Steven, Carlee & Aria Wooddell - NICU Journey

Hello, my name is April Harder. I've created this Go Fund Me as a way for friends and family to show support and encouragement for first-time parents, Steven & Carlee Wooddell.

Baby Aria was born a preemie at 28 weeks on December 27, 2022, weighing just 1.13 ounces. She spent 9 weeks in NICU at Piedmont Athens Regional where she's had good and not-so-good days. Aria has been in a particularly tough battle over the last week and, as a result, was transferred yesterday (2/25/23) to the Children's Healthcare of Augusta NICU where her intensive care will continue. As any parent can imagine, this is an incredibly heartbreaking situation.

There are many unknowns right now, particularly regarding how long Aria will require this level of care. Steven and Carlee are very strong in their faith and believe that God is sovereign over all things including the health and life of their tiny baby girl. They are currently applying for housing through the Ronald McDonald House which would be a blessing, allowing them to remain close to Aria. Steven continues to work as much as possible, therefore, will be traveling frequently to be with Aria & Carlee.

The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to provide an avenue for those who would like to help support Steven, Carlee, & their precious baby girl through their journey. As we know, the price of everything continues to rise and the Wooddell family would not want anyone to place a hardship on their family by donating. Therefore, please know that whether your support is expressed through a monetary donation, prayers, or messages of well-wishes, every act of kindness matters and is most appreciated by Steven & Carlee and their families.
