I’m Laura, Steve’s daughter, writing on behalf of my mom, Jayne. We are raising funds to help cover memorial expenses for my dad, who passed away after a long and incredibly hard fight with cancer.

Dad was so funny, kind, and incredibly laid back. He was deeply loved by us and the outpouring of support since his passing has shown us just how many lives he touched.

Earlier last year, Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. He went through such aggressive treatments, including CAR-T therapy to try to get better and after everything he endured, we were told he was in remission in October. We had hope again. Then, the cancer came back, spreading to his lungs and heart. His decline was sudden and devastating, and we lost him far sooner than we were ready for.

We are heartbroken and trying to navigate this loss while facing the unexpected costs of saying goodbye. Any donation, no matter the amount, helps more than we can express. If you can’t donate, sharing this or keeping our family in your thoughts means just as much.
