On May 19th my husband went into cardiac arrest and went unresponsive at home and then again a couple hours after being in the er room. He has since been released from the ICU and moved into a long term accute care hospital where he is getting physical, occupational and speech therapy. He has came a very long way but still has a long road of recovery ahead of him. He suffered some brain damage due to his time without oxygen. We will need help paying for medical and regular household bills and eventually medicine that he will need when he gets to come home .Also any household things he may need to help him have a easier time around the house such as a walker,shower chair, bedside camode etc. I also want to be able to have a recliner chair and a more comfortable bed for him to lay on when he gets home. The one we have now was given to us and the mattress is very firm and hurts his back badly. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much.☺
