Steve and Amy were enjoying a delightful vacation in Hawaii when Steve was taken down with a severe case of pancreatitis. Pancreatitis is an inflammation of the pancreas, which is often fixed without too many issues. Steve, however, suffered a few setbacks that have kept them in the hospital long after it was time to come home. They are still in Hawaii, far away from home, far away from their pup and each day seems to bring new challenges.
