Memorial Fund for Steven M. Heinrich

In November, Steven Heinrich (my dad) went to the doctor's due to pain in his side,  accompanied by difficulty breathing and a nasty cough.  That week we were told he had a mass on his lungs.  After several weeks of tests and what felt like endless waiting... the doctors concluded that he has Stage 4 Pulmonary Cancer, spread from his lungs to his liver.
My mom, trying to manage her own medical issues, is not working in order to stay home and take care of my dad while he receives radiation and chemotherapy treatments.  Currently, their income is reliant on my dad's short term disability, which will end before we know it.  The cost for medical bills between December and January alone is at least $4,500.
I would like to eliminate as much stress as I can... as my parents have enough to take on right now.  My goal is the upcoming cost of medical bills, but anything will help.  I can only do so much on my own.  My parents have always done right by me and supported me, so now it's my turn to help support them.
